Hi and Welcome to Fiona's Poetry Site, please feel free to have a browse as I am still in the process of reconstructing this site. In the end there will be new contact me, a page where my friends can add poetry, new links, update about me. updates about my poetry book, ways you can donate money, stationary or even a small MacBook, any way that will help me with my poetry book writing and help me with printing and publishing costs.

I do have a mild intellectual impairment, I live on a disability support Pension I struggle quite a bit.

What's new? I am currently working on my first poetry book, I began working on it in 2012, from plan, to draft to typing it up as I go, I have a title for my book it's a surprise it's a part of the Anzac centennial it's my way of contribution to the ANZACs by writing my 1st poetry book. I found an old English word that's rarely used so I've decided that I'll make great use of it.

Also I have started writing other forms of poetry sonnets & using translation so I can use Latin, French & Italian words in my poetry, to be used in sonnets. I want my poetry to start having mixed culture.

Once my poetry book is finished there will be a book launch,, I don't know the popularity or demands for the book yet, only a certain number of copies will be made due to costs of publishing unless I can accept donations if anyone is interested.

I have recently started up poetry readings again after a long absence so far I'm reading at the Rosebud library. While I regain my confidence after I have had issues with bullies, stalkers and cyber bullies. I have wonderful support from family, friends and my wonderful boyfriend Marty.

I have had a lot of help a long the way to help me write poetry a lot better, mine are mainly free verses but lately they have been a mix of acrostic and sonnets to even ballads. I have written one ballad which could have potential to become the next national anthem or a very popular well known poem every where.

I will also be visiting places and taking photos to help me write new poems for my book I aim to write 100 New poems, for me 100 years equals 100 poems these poems will go into my book I know that I will have friends wanting to add in poetry and stories and photos too so I will allow it once I have visited the shrine I'm waiting to be struck by the media..
